Pout Pout Author!

This is just going to be a crazy post.  Just know it from the start.  Unbelievable!  So, back a few weeks ago, I received an email that said this:

Hi, Bethany,

I ran across your blog when a Google alert on my book title brought me to it (to your “Santa C brought...” post).  I just wanted to say that I was tickled to see The Pout-Pout Fish among the books that Santa brought at Christmas.  Sounds like your son is enthusiastic about books – that’s wonderful!  Happy Reading!

um, what?????  Isn't this neat???  I wrote Ms. Diesen back and she ended up writing me back again and sending us SIGNED COPIES of both her books!  Here they are!

Um, is this like the MOST AWESOME THING EVER OR WHAT????  I have always loved reading, and I want our children to love reading, as well.  I try to make a big deal about books and reading and how fun it is to read.  What a wonderful lady!  If you do not have these books for your children...you should get them...they are GREAT.  What a neat experience to have met Ms. Diesen by email - and what a generous lady.  The Pout Pout books will be on our favorites list ALWAYS.
