Welcome To My World!

Yikes...ROUGH NIGHT, HUH? I had a TERRIBLE night last night. I had a headache when it was time for bed, so I took two Excedrin. Well, even though sometimes Excedrin makes me stay awake because of the caffeine, I thought it would be worth it. IT WASN'T. I could not sleep. Well, at first that was nice because Landon and I were chatting for a long time, and I like to talk to him at night. But then, he went to sleep, I still couldn't...and then...I started to feel sick. And then, it went downhill from there. I was sick from about 1am to about 4:30am. By then, I could see there was no way I could make it to work on time - and could definitely not ride with my carpool. After making the appropriate "I'm sick and won't be going in" calls at 5:30am, I finally was able to fall asleep after NOT SLEEPING ALL NIGHT!!! I slept until 9:30am (when I received a very important phone call from work - NOT) and woke up. I felt decent, so I decided to get ready for work. Well, I've made it through the day! And, I chose the worst day to be sick!!! My HR team went out to breakfast this morning at a great restaurant and I did not even get to go. What a dumb day to be sick! So, I've had 3.5 hours of sleep, am not feeling sick anymore (for the most part) and am ready to take it easy. I'm not sure what in the world happened - Landon and I both ate the same things yesterday...but I did eat some weird and random stuff. This is not a good way to start out the week. A lot is on my mind...but still...what in the world? This picture is a great self portrait of what I felt like this morning...and still feel like now!

  1. Should anyone state the obvious? Have you taken a pregnancy test? ;-)

    Glad you're feeling better!

  2. Clifton, I'm going to have to call foul on that one. While I appreciate your faithfulness to post comments, suggestions of life altering circumstances being a possibility will not be tolerated. :)
